Since writing the article about Faver-Dykes State Park, we’ve returned to the park for a weekend getaway and taken the opportunity to film a little video about that trip. You can watch it below or on our YouTube channel.
This was the first video filmed with our new camera equipment. We realized soon enough that we would also need to invest in wireless microphones. However, I was able to bump up the sound in editing. That said, we hear a distinct difference in later videos once the microphones arrive.

This is also when/where we filmed that first van tour video on our gear page.
Watch for an upcoming EVERY NOOK & CRANNY tour of the van, so you can see how we store everything and managed a 31-day road trip in the spring of 2021. It’s amazing that we were able to travel and live out of our little E-350 during days that ranged from 94 degrees to 14 degrees Fahrenheit without many moderner convenances. That trip took us from Florida, through the Gulf Coast states and up to the Grand Canyon and back. It was quite the adventure. But more on that in the coming months.
