Hi! Kim McGee here. Anyone that follows our travels knows that I have a problem with my weight. You’ve seen it go up and down by as much as 10 lbs. between videos. This makes it difficult to find comfortable clothes to hike in. That is, until I found Columbia Apparel and Shoes (affiliate link). I’ve been wearing their pants on cooler days through most of our videos since our very first trip in 2018, so I think I can speak to whether they perform well or not and I can say with confidence that these are not only the most comfortable and forgiving clothes I’ve purchased, but they have also lasted for several years.

My personal favorite is the Columbia Women’s Anytime Outdoor Boot Cut Pant. I wear these all the time; whether I’m hiking, camping, fishing, or just lounging at home.
I also use the Columbia Women’s Saturday Trail II Convertible Pant which I had a chance to try out during our last trip to the smokey mountains where the mornings and evenings were cool, but the days were warm enough to convert the pants to shorts. The stretch in these is not as forgiving, but the ability to convert the pants to shorts easily really works for me when the weather is unpredictable.
As you know I don’t recommend products unless I have actually used them, and Columbia is a brand that I’ve come to rely on and can confidently recommend to anyone looking for outdoor apparel, so when I saw that Columbia was running a few sales during Early Prime Days, I thought I’d pass this info along to you.
