Arguably one of the prettiest Florida State Parks! Want to take a glass bottom boat ride? Or maybe you prefer to kayak a pristine river and hike through diverse ecosystems. Is the historian living inside you looking to learn about the local history? or possibly you simply want to camp and enjoy a few quiet days in nature. Well, you can do all that in one place at Silver Springs State Park in Florida.

You don’t have to be a skilled expect to kayak down this beautiful river. Although we’ve taken canoe trips before down the Ocklawaha River and we owned our own canoe for some time, we’ve never kayaked nor paddled solo. So, if we can do it – YOU CAN DO IT!
Don’t know what site to book? Watch this video. We’ll drive through the campground loops, and the cabin loop so you can see if the site it right for you. We end up back at our campsite and show you what a typical site looks like. You’ll be able to see distance from the bathhouse as well as the dump station. We also let you know what few sites are ADA compliant and which ones have sewer hookups.
